Phone Patrol

Increased security and peace of mind is now affordable!

 
Phone Patrol uses the latest technology to combine a high quality land line autodialler with an integral GSM mobile modem (or radio pager system) and a telephone line monitoring system that automatically switches your alarm system from dialing out down a land line to using a mobile network when your land line goes down. The system also incorporates an optional alarm output down the GSM route as soon as the land line fails.
Compatibility

The system is compatible with any mobile network and most land line networks (the system requires a DTMF (touch-tone) compatible network - so if you use a tone phone or modem (i.e. one that dials using short tones rather than a series of pulses you are OK - if not check with your telecom provider. 

Weak mobile signals can be boosted by the addition of an extended antennae. 

A SIM card is required for the unit - these can be obtained in your country for a very small fee. 

Where no signals are available a radio / pager option is available (you will need to apply for a radio license in your country - usually about £100 per year). The radio pager system has a typical range of 2km when lines of sight are good.
